How To Access The Test Click the test link(s) on the right after reading these instructions. It will open a new window labeled “Test Login. Log In On the “Test Login” page, fill in all required contact information. If applicable, enter your: Dwelling Contractor Number Dwelling Contractor Qualifier Credential Number UDC Construction Inspector Credential Number Click “Start Test” to begin. A new screen labeled “Test in Progress” will appear. Save Your Access Code A case-sensitive access code (highlighted in yellow) will be shown. Write this down — it allows you to resume the test later. To pause the test, click “Save the test and return later.” Your access code will pop up again. To return to the test: Use the link from your email or bookmark it. Enter your access code at the bottom of the login page. Click “Resume Test.” You have 200 days to complete the test. After that, it will be deactivated and your answers will be lost. If you see a message that says your answer failed to save, check your internet connection before continuing. Using Reference Materials You can use the attached PDF (Course 12858 / 13875 / 12909 / 15929 Reference Materials) or click the link at the top of the test page. It opens in a new window. You may toggle between windows or print the reference guide. You cannot print the test questions. Taking the Test Questions are multiple choice or true/false. Only one correct answer per question. Click the radio button next to your answer. When finished, click “Submit Test” at the bottom of the page. Confirm submission when prompted. Your results will display immediately. After Submitting If You Passed: Correct answers = green Incorrect answers = red Score shown at the bottom of the screen You cannot print the results screen If You Need to Retake the Test: Your results screen will show your score Click “Retake Test” (even if you don’t want to retake it right away) This will bring up a new “Test in Progress” page with your new access code Write it down You will only retake the questions you missed Follow the same steps as before Questions will remain in the same order When finished, submit the retake test.
