Course 12858 - Scaffolds And Safety
Scaffolding is one component of the residential construction fall hazard regulations. This course is intended to assist employers and employees in their efforts to comply with the current OSHA scaffold requirements for construction work, as falls are the leading cause of death for workers engaged in residential construction.

Course 13875 - Lead In Construction
Lead was not removed from paint until 1978 (for residential applications). Ordinary renovation and maintenance activities in buildings built before 1978 can create dust that contains lead. This dust can be harmful to children and adults, even if only absorbed in small amounts.
This course is an overview of OSHA’s Lead Standards for the construction industry. Employers and employees will benefit from knowing the risks associated with lead in the construction industry and how to minimize the dangers.

Course 13932 - Trenching and Excavations
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration issued its first Excavation and Trenching Standard in 1971 to protect workers from excavation hazards. Since then, OSHA has amended the standard several times to increase worker protection and to reduce the frequency and severity of excavation accidents and injuries. Despite these efforts, excavation- related accidents resulting in injuries and fatalities continue to occur.
